The vibrant colour of the Consolida so vividly announced the retreat of Winters as Spring arrived. Consolida is a genus of about 40 species of annual flowering plants in the buttercup family Ranunculaceae, native from western Europe through theMediterranean region east to central Asia. The common name, Larkspur, is shared with the closely related genus Delphinium.
The twinkle in her eye said it all……. there she was a beautiful child all full of curiosity and hope for something exciting and wonderful to happen every moment in her life. A child so full of innocence, hoping for something better than her present, looking towards a bright future…..

This was the morning after we got married. We had a soft twitter from somewhere within the balcony plants. Looking close, we saw this little fella sitting there. I could only manage one shot before it got alert and flew away.

My sweet little niece. She’s just 3 and full of all sorts of mischief all the time. She’s still learning to speak and taught me a few words in her language this time.
